ReelMatch is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA and we continually improve the user experience for everyone.

1. Standards & Laws

  • WCAG 2.1 AA — Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
  • AODA — Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.
  • ADA — Americans with Disabilities Act, Title III.
  • Section 508 — for compatibility with assistive technologies.

2. Features We Provide

  • Built-in accessibility menu (font size, high contrast, reduced motion, dyslexia-friendly font).
  • Keyboard navigation throughout the app and a "Skip to main content" link.
  • Semantic HTML, ARIA labels, and focus indicators.
  • Closed-caption support on creator videos where provided.
  • Color contrast tested against WCAG AA thresholds.

3. Known Limitations

Some user-submitted content (videos, images) may not include captions or alt text. We encourage creators to add captions and descriptions and provide tools to do so.

4. Feedback

If you encounter an accessibility barrier or need content in an alternative format, contact us at accessibility@reelmatchagency.com. We aim to respond within 5 business days.

5. Formal Complaints

  • Nova Scotia residents: complaints under the Accessibility Act (Nova Scotia) can be filed with the Accessibility Directorate, Province of Nova Scotia.
  • Other Canadian residents: complaints can be filed with the Canadian Human Rights Commission, or your provincial human-rights tribunal.
  • US residents: complaints under the ADA can be filed with the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division.
