ReelMatch exists to connect brands and creators. These guidelines keep the platform safe, professional, and trustworthy for everyone.
1. Be Respectful
- No harassment, threats, hate speech, or discrimination based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
- No doxxing or sharing private information without consent.
- No unsolicited sexual content or messages.
2. Be Authentic
- Use accurate photos, metrics, and credentials. No impersonation.
- Don't buy followers, fake engagement, or misrepresent past work.
- Companies: post real opportunities with clear terms.
3. FTC Endorsement Disclosure (Creators)
If you are a US-based creator and you receive payment, free product, or other consideration in exchange for content, you must clearly and conspicuously disclose the relationship under FTC Endorsement Guides. Use #ad, #sponsored, or "Paid partnership with [Brand]" at the start of the post — not buried in hashtags. Canadian creators should follow Ad Standards and Competition Bureau guidance, which require similar clear disclosure.
4. Legal Content Only
- No content depicting minors in sexualized contexts. Ever. Reports to NCMEC are mandatory.
- No promotion of illegal drugs, weapons sales, or other unlawful activity.
- Respect copyright and trademarks. Don't post content you don't own or have rights to.
- Comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
5. No Spam or Scams
- No mass-unsolicited messaging.
- No pyramid schemes, fake brand offers, or upfront-fee scams.
- No phishing or malicious links.
6. Reporting
Found a violation? Use the "Report" button on any profile or message, or email trust@reelmatchagency.com. We review reports and act according to severity, ranging from warnings to permanent bans.
7. Enforcement
Violations may result in content removal, feature restrictions, account suspension, or termination, at our discretion. Severe violations (CSAM, threats of violence, fraud) result in immediate termination and may be reported to law enforcement.
8. Minor Creators (Under 18)
Minors may participate on ReelMatch only through a parent- or guardian-managedprofile linked to an adult account on an active Family plan. The parent or legal guardian:
- Creates, edits, and operates the minor's profile in full — the minor does not log in directly.
- Receives and approves every brand collaboration request before any messaging begins.
- Is legally and financially responsible for the account and all content posted from it.
- Can hide the minor's profile from brand discovery at any time.
Brands wishing to contact a minor must submit a request through the profile page; the parent must approve before any direct messaging is possible. Brands are required to comply with COPPA (US), FTC endorsement rules for minors, child labor laws of the minor's jurisdiction (including state "Coogan"-style laws where applicable), and Canadian provincial youth-employment rules. Compensation terms involving a minor must be agreed in writing with the parent.
Sexualized, suggestive, or otherwise inappropriate content involving minors is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination and mandatory reports to NCMEC and applicable authorities.
9. Appeals
If you believe enforcement action was taken in error, email appeals@reelmatchagency.com within 30 days.
